Shalom Springs

An oportunity for individuals wanting community and independence that may some assistance or support with thier activities of daily living. 

Shalom - peace between two entities, or well-being, welfare or safety of an individual or group of individuals.

Spring- a small stream of water flowing naturally from the earth, to move upward, to arise from a source, develop, or beginning, a season of th year, occurring between winter and summer, a time of regrowth and renewal where the weather becomes warmer and plants revive, it is a time of new life.

Shalom Springs offers another wonderful opportunity for us to serve more individuals with special needs.  For over 15 years it has been on th heart and minds of many of those who serve here at David's House Ministries to venture into providing supported independent living arrangements out of the six apartment buildings that are located in our cul-de-sac.

This past winter a friend of the ministry purchased 3 of the 6 apartment buildings, making this long-time dream start to become a reality.  The apartments will be available for individuals with disabilities who can live independently but may need some supported living services that we as a ministry an provide. 

All of the apartments are two bedrooms, excpt one.  Altogether, there could be 23 bedrooms available in our community to live.  New carpet, tile, lighting, appliances and lots of fresh paint have made th apartments almost like new.

All needed support services and accessibility accommodations will be discussed on a case by case basis, as will the cost associated with providing for these needs.  Units are now available to rent.
