Who We Are

      David's House Ministries has two adult foster care homes. We are fully licensed and approved by the State of Michigan. We partner with several agencies and groups in Kent County, (Network 180, Thresholds, Hope Network, Touchstone Innovaire, Spectrum, New Endeavors, Go-Getters, Guardian Angels, Goodwill Industries, etc.) to help us provide a variety of services. Some of those services are; day programming, case management, activity programs and some added government funding for those who qualify. These services are important to our residents as it gives them an opportunity to be sharing in community life, whether they are working, volunteering or just enjoying some leisure time

      David's House residents live a full life in a secure setting. Each person has his or her own room while sharing comfortable living, ktchen and dining areas. Our residents are given quality personal care in a Christian home-like atmosphere. The private rooms give them personal ownership and a sense of value and worth. This also helps in providing an atmosphere in which each resident can grow to their full potential, physically, mentally, and spiritually.

      House I is a 10 bed home licensed for adults with developmental disabilities, mental illness, and physical disabilities.

      House II is a 12 bed home licensed with a certification for adults with developmental disabilities. It is also licensed for adults with mental illness, traumatic brain injuries, and physical disabilities.
